It may seem to you that there are So Many Roads to ease
your soul but there's truly only one way that will take you
home. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No
one can come to the Father except through me."
(John 14:6).

We've been traveling to shows & festivals, (Grateful Dead, Jerry
Garcia Band, Phil Lesh & Friends, Bob Weir & Ratdog, Phish, String
Cheese Incident, Widespread Panic, Allman Brothers Band, Yonder
Mountain String Band, etc.) off and on for almost 20 years.

Some come to laugh their past away
Some come to make it just one more day

At shows & festivals, and on tour, we've come across many people,
seeking. Seeking truth, seeking peace, seeking love, seeking
worship, seeking freedom, seeking community, seeking adventure,
and seeking something higher.

Although this scene seemed to temporarily provide us with many of
these things, it never fully satisfied us for any length of time. There
were high highs, blissful moments, exciting intervals, but no lasting
satisfaction.

We had a void in our life, and we were trying to fill it with so many
things. We didn't realize it at the time, but the only thing that can
fill that void is a relationship with Jesus Christ. We realized we'd
sinned against God, our creator. We knew that Jesus was crucified
for our sins. We received the forgiveness of Jesus and asked Him to
come in to our lives and be our Lord and Savior.

There's definitely a lot more to our story. But now we have true
peace in our lives, a purpose for living, and assurance that we're
going to heaven.

Now we know the truth (Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and
the life. No one can come to the Father except through me."
John 14:6).

Now we have peace (a peace that surpasses all understanding,
Philippians 4:7)

Now we know what love is ("For God so loved the world that he gave
his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but
have eternal life." John 3:16). God loves us so much that He sent his
only Son to die in our place. That's love!

We were made to worship. But we're only to worship the one true
and living God. We are to worship the creator, not the creation.
("For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit
and in truth." John 4:24).

Now we are truly free ("And you will know the truth, and the truth
will set you free." John 8:32. "So if the Son sets you free, you will
indeed be free." John 8:36).

Let me assure you. There's no greater community that being a part
of God's family. And there's no greater adventure, and nothing
higher than living your life for Jesus.

After I asked Jesus into my life, everything looked different. The
lyrics of the songs I'd loved and known so well, took on a different
meaning and significance. I found myself hearing the words and
thinking about God. As I'm at shows and festivals and see the
dancing and singing I find myself thinking about how awesome it's
going to be in Heaven worshipping God for all eternity.

I'd really love to spare you the mistakes I've made.

I believe there are many others out there like we were. Seeking for
something. That something is someone. Jesus Christ. That's one of
the reasons we still go to shows & festivals. We really enjoy the
music, but we also know that everyone needs Jesus. We pray that
we'll have the opportunity to share Him with you.

But I'll get back on my feet someday
The good Lord willing, if he says I may
I know that the life I'm living's no good
I'll get a new start, live the life I should

Don't put off the decision to turn your life over to Jesus.

Please turn your life over to Him now. Time slips by so quickly, don't
miss this opportunity. If you want to pray and ask Jesus to be your
Savior, you can say a prayer something like this:

"Jesus, I know that I have sinned against you. I know the truth is
that I have sinned by my own choice, and I am the one responsible
for it. I know that I have earned punishment from You, and that the
fair punishment would be death. Jesus, I believe that You died in my
place. Forgive me for my sin. I cannot cover or take my sin away, I
am relying totally and only on You. You are the only one who can save
me. I reject my sin, I turn away from it, I repent. Come into my life,
take away my sin, and show me how to live my life in a way that is
right and pleasing to You."

I asked Jesus into my heart, NOW WHAT DO I DO?
